Shane Henderson grew up in rural Greenville, Texas. His roommate Silvia Saige was already doing porn and told him he should try it. He needed a name. His mom helped pick it. They Googled 'Wesley Woods' together and found a church camp — they took it as a sign from God. What followed: GayVN Performer of the Year and Best Actor in the same year (only the second person to pull that off), Grabby Performer of the Year, a stand-up comedy career, and then a gay-bashing in West Hollywood in 2018 that he tweeted about and the whole community saw. He retired in 2019. When asked what his favorite dessert is, he said 'salad, hoe.'
